The College of Nursing discusses students ’graduation projects virtually

 

 

The College of Nursing at Basra University held its eighth student conference (the first hypothetical) for the academic year 2019-2020 to discuss students ’graduation projects through the virtual education platform in accordance with precautionary measures to prevent the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) Where the conference was held under the supervision of the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Mousawi, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs and Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Aalak Hassan, under the direction of Mr. Abdul Karim Oudeh Muften, and several discussion committees consisting of faculty teachers For his part, Al-Mousawi said, "For the first time, the College of Nursing has succeeded in conducting research graduation projects by using virtual learning platforms, and this is a great success for the college, students and researchers." Our mission is to promote research and scientific activity and help our students to reach new insights through research, and this is in line with our vision to develop healthcare in Iraq through excellence and innovation in nursing education. "

 

Al-Mousawi pointed out that this circumstance provides many opportunities, and said: "The pandemic has provided us with an opportunity to look at teaching methods and develop them efficiently in line with virtual education platforms." He added, “The students presented their results and discussed them successfully at the end of the course. We were very happy to see the efforts of the College of Nursing paid off, and that the students achieved the desired results from acquiring research, writing and presentation skills to success in assessments. ”
